Hello! Welcome to my Technology Blog.
My name is Ronna and I am a 1st Grade Teacher at Keith Elementary School in Joliet, IL. I am fortunate to have the privilege to share my love of learning with my students.
I have taught for 15 years. During my 15 years of teaching, I have had the opportunity to work with students at the kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade levels.I have taught in Florida as well as in several districts within the state of Illinois.
I attended an all girl high school, and graduated from Southern Illinois University. I received my undergraduate degree in Paralegal Studies but decided to change my career direction. I attended Chicago State University and received a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in 2002.
I am currently working on enhancing my teaching craft by taking Educational Technology courses at the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL. I am a part of a learning cohort which focuses on integrating technology into our curriculum to help our students gain 21st century technology experiences. My students are excited about the various technology activities I have exposed them to. They are becoming experts at logging onto the computers, finding resources and completing activities online. I am excited about my tech journey and happy that I can share this experience with my students.
